Default To call or not to call!

Hi Guys,

We submitted our ITA (SMC with Job offer) on 1 Aug 08 and we received a letter telling us our case officer has been assigned and will deal with our application withinn 1 - 3 months(standard reply I think).

My question is, after reading some of you guys posts on here, I'm wondering if I should be giving them a call to check all is ok? We have had no conatct so I'm supposing no news is good news!

Would any of you suggest doing this, or should I just leave be! another question, how do they let you know, personal E-mail, message on online web site or letter? I am checking the online status daily and all it says is decision pending. (incidentally, although my application was submitted 1 aug 08 it says that my medical certificate was submitted on 22 Aug 08! (I'm sure i sent them all together!)

Sorry guys,
Getting impatient now!!

NZIS have only had my ITA for 2 weeks but already I am becoming impatient! Just my nature though, I like everything done yesterday!
