Calculating my points
 

Hi all
can any one help me to calculate my points for immigration to new Zealand asI am confused.

I want to apply as telecommunication engineer 263311
I am 27 , with bachelor degree in communication and electronics
I am studying MSc in telecommunication networks
I have IELTS general with over all score 6.5
I have 40 months overseas experience

What have you got when you calculate it on the Immigration site?. Also what age are you putting in as you seem a little confused as what your actual age is??

I am confused about absolute shortage and future growth area bonus points . I do not know if I deserve it or not ?

Per my knowledge, you can claim for "future growth area" bonus only if you are employed in NZ or already has got a job offer, otherwise you can't.

ahh you see you said you were 30 in the Australian forum ?

S.sharma has it correct on the future growth area points - you need a job offer to claim for these.
You can claim for points for absolute shortage without a job or job offer BUT you must have the exact requirements listed on the LTSSL for your occupation.
