Re: Bonus Points for Work Experience from Pakistan
To claim those bonus points I think the work experience has to be gained in a labour market comparable to NZ's, does Pakistan meet that criteria?
Seems not, the current list is: Comparable labour market A labour market is the commercial environment in which people exchange their work for income and where employers and workers ‘trade’ on the demand for, and supply of, skills. If you do not have skilled employment or an offer of skilled employment, your work experience must have been gained in a comparable labour market in order for you to claim points. Work experience is assessed as being in a comparable labour market if it was undertaken in one of the following countries by: a citizen or permanent resident of that country; or a person who had the lawful authority to work in that country. Australia Japan Austria Malaysia Belgium-Luxembourg New Zealand Canada Netherlands Cyprus Norway Denmark Philippines Finland Portugal France Republic of South Korea Germany Singapore Greece Spain Iceland Sweden Ireland Switzerland Israel South Africa Italy United Kingdom United States |
Re: Bonus Points for Work Experience from Pakistan
Simonsi , Can You please tell me from where you give this list of countries ? above !!
The labor market it is mean , if you have a degree in LTSSL and you are work or gain experiences in the same field .. for example I am a mechanical engineer graduate from Iraq and I have more than ten years in mechanical engineering in Iraq and UAE .. of course you need to give an evidences ( reference letters ) from your employer(s) .. prove that you gain these experiences with details ( What you do exactly ) in the same field .. |
Re: Bonus Points for Work Experience from Pakistan
Look on the NZIS website, follow Skilled Migrant Category, then points indicator and follow the link in the Bonus Points section to the comparable labour market listing.
This is about your work experience, not your qualifications. |
Re: Bonus Points for Work Experience from Pakistan
if your country of work experience is not on the list then you cannot claim points. same as if your qualifications have to be from certain educational institution. All this can be found on the Immigration website
