Would a basic disclosure.do as a police check, for immigration

I had to google basic discloser. Nothing there but Google suggested basic disclosure. I'm not sure if that would work. My instincts tell me you had better just supply whatever it is that NZIS instructs you to get.
I've heard it takes about 40 days to have your police clearance processed although apparently you can speed it up with a 'pretty please with sugar on top' note.

No, I would imagine. The police checks cost £10 quid I think and can take a little while.
Better to simply supply NZIS with the exact documentation it requires for a smooth , trouble free application.
