Apprenticeships/traineeships on working holiday Visa?

Hi all,

Was just wondering as I cant seem to find any information on it anywhere, and where I currently live the opportunities are incredibly minimal, would it be possible to travel to NZ on a working holiday visa and then attempt to enter a trade as an apprentice? In my head it seems to make sense because of then having a sponsor for a work visa but I'm not sure if it's actually possible in any way at all. Thanks
