Default Application Processing Stages/MA timescales

Hi

Well good news, we do appear to have a case officer and he has contacted us by email to advise he has completed the first assessment and all the information we provided was fine. He even thanked us for providing such good documentation.

Our son's medical report does have to be sent to the MA, which we expected, and we have sent a report from his specialist that the case officer said would be of great help.

So questions:-

1. Does anyone know what the current timescale is for referral to MA and when we are likely to hear from them?

2. If the MA comes back with the OK, what happens next and what are the timescales involved?

I have asked the case officer these questions too, but just wondered what people's experience on here has been.

Many thanks

E x
