APPLICATION LODGED
Hie
Please can anyone shed some light,
15 August 2008 - Submitted ITA
24 October 2008 - Case officer requesting extra family declarations, & past travelling details
4 December 2008 - A different case officer assigned and emailed requesting information to prove our marriage, submitted all the proof pictures, bills etc
18 December 2008 - checked on our immigration online status has changed to application lodged.
How much longer do we have to wait to those who have gone through the same process. We have been waiting for the so called interview, l bet we just have to wait and be patient just waiting whats more coming.

hmm, that's unusual and seems really long!
we submitted our ITA on 16th december and it was lodged on 17th december. so we are hoping that we will wait 2-3 months to be assigned a case officer and then the processing will begin.
yours seems to have worked differently in that they requested further information before lodging your application. this might mean that your application was incomplete, maybe you left bits out and they needed that info before actually lodging it??
anyway, can't understand it - but hopefully someone will get to your case soon. it's frustrating isn't it. we too are waiting (although only submitted dec so am prepared for another month or so of waiting before we hear anything).
