after interviewed....what's next ?

Hello,

i had my interview a month ago. How long do i have to wait for the visa result? Possible to drop an email to my officer?

I think we heard about 3 weeks after the interview. I don't think there would be any harm sending a polite email asking how long it was likely to take to hear a decision, assuming of course the interview didn't include a request for you to supply anything additional which hasn't yet been done...
