advice needed for immigration

Hi,
We are looking for advice on emigrating to NZ before Aug 2011 as we have a 3 and 2 year old and wish to move before he is 5 and starts school.
I am a MoD Dog Handler with 13 years experience and my wife, Karen, is a NHS HCA- which is not on the skills shortage. Dog handler is but I need to find a job first before applying or a visa, I am in the security role and have carried out community policing.
Does anyone have any ideas on where these listed Dog Handling shortages are as I have looked at NZ Customs, NZ MoD and Department for Correction? But nothing. Please help with any suggestions.:fingerscrossed:

The skills needed lists are here. You can submit an Expression of Interest without a job offer, but can only claim points for job titles on the Long Term Lists (LTSSL). Plug some details into the EOI points caluclator to see where you stand without a job offer. We had enough points to get selected without an offer.
