AAAAAAHHHHHH Medical Reports....
 

Where do i start????????????????????
Have to say this whole medical assessment stuff does get you down....
I have been really fed up with the whole effing thing:curse:

After having our medicals last October,my medical results have been too-ing and fro-ing since then,been sent off for medical assessments and so on.
Anyway had an email off NZIS was in January..Asking for further information,namely a report from an Endocrinologist..Took some finding,anyway found one,and the report had to be in by the 22nd Feb..

The report finally arrived on Saturday...I HAVE ONLY WAITED 8WEEKS FOR THE SPECIALIST TO DO THIS...And here's me thinking,going private and paying would speed things up.....How wrong was i.....:mad:

Please bear in mind that i have kept NZIS informed all along..
I will post this report today off to London,and now i will have to wait another 3-5 wks for the medical assessor to have alook at it...:eek::eek:
WHEN WILL IT END.........
And another thing....My wife and i both had jobs when we arrive!!! well my wifes job is no more,and mine??? well its looking not to clever either......

Anyway one things for sure....I now know there
is nowt wrong with me now...:lol::lol:

Sure we've commented on each other's posts before! I've sent you some karma cos I know what you're going through. At one stage I felt like saying enough is enough and stuff the MO!
However, after composing stinking email (and not pushing the 'send' button!!!), I finally calmed down. It was a case of how much did we want to go and what hoops were we prepared to jump through to get there?
We spent hundreds of pounds extra for our medical reports (mainly to do with teenage sons growing pains!!!! :curse: and guess what - he's grown out of them :) ).
Passports are now at New Zealand house waiting for stickers!
Then there's just the small matter of a house to sell.......but that's a different story!
Just keep in there and hopefully your job will work out too!

Hi Squiddly,

I know how you feel, the number of times we where going to give up. But we are here now,I finally got granted a temporary visa in March 09(the day we where flying out) I finally got my PR after a year of emails and test results going back and forth (received the email today). Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks for that Bevs......As i said earlier,my wifes job has gone and mine is looking a bit shaky:eek:.......As where the job offers are their has been some redundancies...:eek:

Keep going , you're nearly there now. The whole process is just so stressful at times I'm surprised anyone gets through to the end!
