Seems quite common to have issues with the supervisor-manager cusp, presume he is doing the obvious and looking for a job that carries manager status? Know not quick easy fix but as he cant work....

I guess from your calc the loss of the skilled employment points also kills off the outside Auckland and NZ employment points etc.

Is he too old to apply under dependant child now? Agree he hasnt been while working but now he isnt able to work, presumably he is dependant and demonstrably so!
