$50k
I have seen mentioned that the minimum salary quoted by NZIS is $50k but can only find mention of 45k on their website - can somebody please direct me to where it is quoted officially as I am in discussion with my potential employers cos they don't want to pay more than 45k !!

It was $45k up until a few months ago, we came over in Jully on a WTR visa when the requirement was 45 so it has changed around or since then.
If your possible emplyoyer wants you to come over on a WTR visa then if they are an accredited employer they will have to pay you the $50k, otherwise you could apply another way i.e. EOI or general work visa if you are eligible for it, if you have a set job offer than this should help going via EOI though I dont know lots about it so I am sure someone more knowlegeable will be able to help more.

The 50K limit does not apply for a general work permit/visa but your pay would have to be somewhat in line with the current pay levels for the job.
50K is the limit for applying via the Work to Residence Route.
Are you looking to submit an EOI? Expression of Interest.
Is your work on the Long Term Skilled Migrant shortages list?
