Your advise please
I applied in Cairo on feb 2004.
- CIC asked for docs update on 24th of April
- I delivered the required updates on 7th of May to the embassy.
- On 9th of Sep CIC sent an e-mail saying "Please be advised that you can expect to hear from us by the beginning of 2008."
Don't you think it is so log time to hear from them after 7 months of updating my docs? or they may call me before that?

It would appear that they have used up their visa Quota for 2007.

Does that mean that the decision is made but waiting for new year to inform me. I mean if I ask for CAIPS, will it expect to see the decision?
