Hi All,
just wondering if you have any advice for this. We JUST paid our fees online (can't believe we're nearly there!) But instead of the $1040, we paid $1090 - this was the $50 for the residency card.
Will this hinder our application? Which is common-law route.
Really worried - well, worried about everything, cause we're sending it off tomorrow...maybe just overeacting!

Eeeep - we've done that too! I didn't even think - just went through the list of things and thought "well, we might as well pay for everything now".
Our application was sent off 2 weeks ago and the DHL tracking shows they've got it, but it's still not appeared on the CIC website.
Now I'm worried that overpaying will totally hold everything up

I wouldn't worry we paid by cheque rather than online and sent the whole lot in too. It actually worked out better as it stopped there being any delay further on in the process when they would request the next lot of money from you. Everything went through fairly smoothly for us and we landed in March. Good luck with the rest of the process.

Oh phew. That's good!
Even though it means we've paid $50 for a card that's free for 6 months

Hi
1. Of 2 things will happen, the application will be returned asking for the correct fees, or eventually you will get a $50 refund.
