Default Write or type application forms?!

Hello
I notice that the forms are fillable on line (but you can't save the text!) so I wondered what people have done /did - print out and fill in by hand or type and print?

Thanks

That just means you've got Acrobat Reader not the Writer version. We were able to type and save our forms so have sent type written ones in.

Typed ours in and printed them out straight away as was unable to save them. Thought it looked neater.

We hand wrote ours. As long as your handwriting is clear and legible, you'll be OK.

Adobe Acrobat Professional is required to be able to save the forms in pdf format.

We filled out in Acrobat because it looked much tidier than handwriting. A lot less frustrating if you made a mistake too.

Used Acrobat Professional to fill them in (other than a couple of bits where there wasn't enough space for the characters) and saved them. Filled in the last couple of bits by hand.

Used the fillable PDF form and printed. Still needed to hand fill one or two places. Think it makes things clearer, particularly if your handwriting is messy like mine .

When we filled them in a couple of years ago we found there wasn't enough room in some of the sections if we tried to fill it in online, so we filled them out by hand. If they've fixed that problem do it online as it would be far easier.......at the end of the day it wouldn't matter which way you filled it in as long as it was filled in correctly

Filled out the forms by hand, did anything that didn't fit in the space provided (e.g. list of previous addresses) on the computer and printed it out as a seperate page.

You can use the trial version for 30 days without buying it. Just tell the program that you're going to "activate" later. That should be plenty of time to fill out the majority of your application, save the files, then print them later and hand-fill anything you missed.
