Working Holiday Visa?
Hoping somebody can help us here - I have had a look on the wiki and article but can't find anything specifically relating (but i could just be being a wee bit thick!? - feel free to laugh if i have missed the obvious link).
My husband and I are currently in Newfoundland on work permits, pr application in progress. Our niece (21 years old) would like to come over for a spell (few months/up to a year) on a kind of working holiday. However, she is not a student, so can't come through the BUNAC. Having a wee squint round the internet, there don't seem to be many other options - it us unlikely that she would get a job offer which would give a work permit, she would really need an open work permit. Does anyone know if there is anything kind of working holiday visa for non-students? Would appreciate any advice on this, and again apologies if i have missed something in wiki about it. Thanks, jx |

Cheers for that BeeBop. Must have been having a blonde moment - i always assumed that BUNAC was for students - about 5 mins after posting i thought about checking the website, and duh - don't have to be a student. Feel like a right doughball.
Whereabout in Scotland are you? My husband and I have just moved over from beside Aberdeen. |
