Here is my question:
I am a born US citizen, parents US citizens. I am currently entertaining a
job offer from a company in Vancouver. As far as I could find out my US
citizenship status will not change or be lost from doing this. I am
planning on just applying for a work permit for Vancouver and not permanent
residency. Is there anything that I'm missing or confused about? The
length of time I plan to work in Vancouver is unknown, but I'm going to
guess at least 3-5 years. My family is still in the US and will be visiting
at least once a year.
Thanks for the help.

While this is not the best place to ask, there is no doubt that you cannot
lose your US citizenship by working in Canada. You are required to report
your income for tax purposes to both Canada and the US. There is an
agreement as to how this is done to avoid duplicate taxation.
