Default Working in Canada

Ok from some research Iv done.

I can Enter Canada as a tourist without a Visa because I got both a
Hungarian Passport and New Zealand Passport.
That's cool

But with this working stuff I sorta don't understand.

I'm Hopefully going to be going to Canada in June/July 2003 and Plan to be
in Vancouver BC.

I'm limited as far as my skills are concerned. I will basically be looking
for work in the Hospitality or IT field and from what I read. I need to have
Temporary Residence and THEN! once I have found a job. I can then apply for
a working permit is this correct ?

1st. Wont potential employers be reluctant to employee a worker in this
situation?
2nd. Is there anyway of getting a work then looking for a job ?
3rd Can I apply for PR once I got my Temporary residence/Work Permit ?
4th. Can I travel to USA and back to Canada without a problem ?

Thanks in Advance

Default Re: Working in Canada

You are coming at it backwards. You can't apply for a work permit form
inside Canada, you need to find the job first and then they need to get HRDC
validation and then you can apply for the work visa from your local Canadian
embassy and then you enter Canada using that visa and become a temporary
worker.
So if you enter as a visitor you aren't going to be able change status toa
temporary worker without leaving and applying then returning, so you could
go as a visitor, look for work and find a job and get them to HRDC validate
it then leave for home, apply for the work permit get your stuff togther and
move back as a temporary worker.
