Default Work Visa question

I currently hold a valid Canadian work visa, however i recently moved
and lost the actual paper (i've looked absolutely everywhere!)
So i was wondering if there is a record in a computer somewhere (i got
my original Work visa from Vegreville)that i could access and have
another official copy made or do i need to re-apply?
Since i already hold a valid permit, would re-applying be a bad thing?

I appreciate any help with this.

Thanks

It will cost you $30.00 for a replacement copy of your Work Permit. Contact
the Call Centre and ask for the form and an official receipt and then follow
the instructions on the form.
