No, what they mean is that in the 3 month period BEFORE you apply for an LMO is that the position had to have been advertised for 14 days on the job bank. Not advertise for 2 weeks and then wait 3 months.

So, both us and Dave's employer were under the impression that the LMO we had was for TWO years. There was a discussion between Dave's boss and the HRSDC about this and it was agreed that two years was what was needed.

We took a one year work permit as we expected to have PR by now. Of course, just to help, none of us has a copy of the LMO - the nice CIC people at St Stephen, NB kept it when we went to get our WP's last year - so we are unable to check to see whether they actually granted us a 2 year or a 1 year - ie was a mistake made?

SOOOOOOOOOO I have spent the weekend freaking out and waiting for Monday morning to roll around so I can get on the phone with them and see what the hell happened.
