Work permit - 'proof of ties' examples?
 

Hi folks,

I was wondering what evidence people have submitted to prove ties to the UK?

I'm applying for my work permit (as part of AIP programme) and we are applying for my partner's open work permit at the same time. We will shortly apply for my PR too.
For his part of the application they have asked for 'Purpose of Travel - other' ('proof that you are coming for a temporary visit').

We were going to buy flights after the work permit application was submitted so wouldn't yet have a return ticket to show. (Though perhaps worth booking before WP application submitted...gulp!)
We can show his UK bank account, and phone contract, but are struggling to think of other pieces of evidence. He doesn't own property here.
We also have a dentist appointment booked for him that we can include.

If it were to all fall through (though don't foresee any reason it should), then we would both come back to the UK, but I appreciate IRCC want proof that he wouldn't try and stay.

Just wondering what other folks have submitted?
