Hello,

My brother got an offer of a job in Canada in a clinic as an MD. I was
wondering, what are the steps that the employer should take to get him
the work permit and how long does it take? Does he need a license to
to practice medicine first, or his license from USA will work and
later he can get a Canadian one? And how long the whole process take
for someone to get a work permit?

Yes he will need a license to practise and a billing number form the
provincial health insurance provider. His employer will have to file
his request with HRDC.
