Default Work Permit extentions

HI all,

Has anyone else seen this link about work permits being extened to 24 months,(see below)

Just wondered as our 1 year work permit runs out in October and don't think we will be getting our PR before then, so we were going to have to extend our permit, but if l read it right on the link you can stay for 24 months before extending? or have l read it wrong.
l would be intered to hear from you guy's

You have read it slightly wrong. It applies to jobs with NOC that do not fall into A& B or O. If your job falls into the C/D then you are eligible for a two year (max) work permit before you have to leave. You still have to apply for an extension with the LMO prior to your present permit expiring.
