Hi All,

I recently received an ITA for both myself and my spouse through CEC. Looking at the awarded CRS points, I cannot see anywhere that my spouse received any points for her work experience back in the UK or in Canada.

When completing her work history, we included all of her 'professional' jobs, and are now being asked to get employment references for all of them...which is a bit of a pain.

My questions is... if we are not receiving any CRS points for her foreign work experience or Canadian work experience, do we still need to do this? Or can we just put this information in her personal history and leave the work history blank?

Spouses only get points for Canadian experience of one year or more in skilled work. If you are not getting any points for them (and are sure of this) then remove them from work history and keep them in personal history.

+1 put all work not eligible for points in personal history and not work history. When you go to the step where you upload documents you will find the sections for your spouses work references have gone.
