Work history question for EE
 

Hi, we have just started to fill out our EE application, we are in the UK.
In the work history section, it asks for the country in which the job was. We previously had PR but have renounced in order to reapply as we didn’t meet the PR OR. For our employment history in Canada, it asks us if we ‘had a work permit to work in Canada’. What do we answer? We thought that PR is not classed as a work permit so should put no, is that right?
The next question then asks, ‘did your job require; no work permit; work permit but no LMIA; or work permit with LMIA’. Do we answer ‘no work permit required’?

yes answer no and include a letter of explanation with your application to explain the situation. Remember to only enter work experience you are claiming points for in the work history section.

Work you do not/cannot claim for should go into the personnel history section.

The reason is that for each job entered in the work history section the online system will generate a requirement for uploading the letter of employment.
