I have a question and a comment regarding work experience.

I am a 25 years old, Industrial Engineer living in Canada on a student visa since
August 2000; I recently, got my Master’s degree (master of engineering in
engineering management) and looking forward to start my PhD study in my field. I did
apply for permanent residency as skilled worker to Buffalo in July 2001 and received
my AOR in October 2001 informing me that I have to wait 30 weeks to get my Initial
Assessment not 20 weeks as posted on their web! No Problem, most important than all,
which is the reason of writing this message’ that I did get my undergraduate
degree in December 1999, I left to Canada in August 2000, but the period of my work
experience is (June 99 – July 2000 same company and by my field) full time
work, which means 6 months before my graduation. I wish but with fear' that
doesn’t mean an Automatic Refusal with the visa officers who certainly act like
robots while making decisions and talking by the machine language! Fortunately, I got
a positive assessment result from the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers, one
of my brothers is a landed immigrant and also I attached a very strong paper with my
application from one of my professors ( well known to Canada) who taught me 3
master’s courses describing kind of projects that I did for him during my study
but I am still uncertain if that will be considered as work experience or not. (
September 2000 - April 2001)

My question, u think I will get Refused or it all depends on the temper of the
visa officer?

My comment, I wish if by chance u gonna meet with any of those who proved best
their work experience without naming any countries if they know what engineering
means or if they know either how to spell it but still got accepted because they
got the visa officer’s satisfaction and ask the welfare how those people
survive! God bless Canada

Grateful to u for your help and wish u having great day. Regards,
