Hi Guys: I have a question about the Work Authorization for my Co-op work term.

I am currently on my student visa and I have got a job offer for my Co-op work term.
I will get the letters from the college and the employee, however it will take some
time to get my work visa done from the immigration office.

My work term will start on Jan and I probably can only receive the work visa after
the initial date I suppose to start the new job. Could I start work anyway or I will
have to wait till I receive the work Visa?

You'll have to wait, if you work without authorization you are in violation of
your status.
