Our application was couriered off to NS immigration today, we are applying via PNP CIS. Will they e-mail us to let us know they've received it? If so, how long is the wait for an acknowledgment on average? Thanks for your replies

We handed ours in, but we did get an email receipt about 5 days later which confirmed receipt and gave us a file number.

This is to confirm receipt of your Community Identified application under
the Nova Scotia Nominee Program by the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration.
Your application has been assigned file number NSNP XXXX. Please refer to
this file number in any further communication with our office.

Your application will be assessed in due course and notification will be
provided to you in writing as to the results.

Jimmydean, thanks for providing a preview of what our acknowledgment e-mail is likely to look like though the bit about informing us in writing with regards to the results brought butterflies to my stomach a bit. It took me back to my exam days
