Default Will they deny my visit visa?

Ok i know no one can tell if a visit visa can be denied or not and it depend on the counselor but here is a little bit of my story

app started skilled worker nov 2002, added wife, sent medicals rolf, fbi fingerprints etc. last communication i reiceved was on april 2005 that they needed updated fbi prints and evidence of completion of dui probation (i got suspended sentence wher if i complete probation they dismiss the charges) which i sent 2 weeks later.

i wanted to go for a friends wedding next month in Canada, if i apply for a visit visa is it a high chance that i will be denied because of my pending PR application? I am going to apply at Buffalo.

Thanks!

my two cents...

It's a wedding ceremony. That means 1-2-3-4 days, maybe a week of stay...not more! As long as you show the tourist visa, proof of fund and a return ticket everything should go smoothly...
