Default Will hubby need a skills assessment

Good morning,

Another question, hubby is hoping to apply through the FSW route as a plumber, will he need a skills assessment before our application goes through, or will that be done once in Canada.

Thank you
Sarah

Isn't skills assessment a thing for Oz immigration? He won't need it for Canadian immigration, although he'll have to prove he's got the skills (and does the duties listed under the NOC code) via things like employment references, contracts, etc.

Then once he gets to Canada I believe he'll need to sit the Red Seal to be able to work - a quick forum search will give you more info on this.
