Default whether RCMP error affects processing time?

hello everybody...

i found out that the RCMP forwarded the results of my criminal record check to the wrong CPC...i know...it sounds weird..but unfortunately that's what happened...it's a long story, but after a lot of emails, faxes, and phone calls, the papers are hopefully on their way to my CPC (Buffalo)...

now my question is: does this delay (a delay of 7 months since the paper was finished back in april) in sending the RCMP check results to Buffalo affect processing at all??...in other words, would they stop doing everything until they get the RCMP papers??...do they start background checks right away after they send interview waiver (as in my case) or wait for the medical and RCMP results before starting it???
