Default Where to start

Hi all, my wife and I are looking at emigrating to Canada, and from what we have read we both classify as skilled workers, but we aren't sure where to begin with the process. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Make a nice cup of tea.

Go here : Do you want to come to Canada, or extend your stay?

Follow the steps.

This might help too : Category:Canadian Immigration : British Expat Wiki

Make more tea. Read. Rinse. Repeat. Ask more questions if/when you get stuck

Most Federal Govt categories now realistically require a job offer, but FSW, if the codes are still open, is one that doesn't. There are also provincial programs eg. Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba etc Good luck

Hi, and welcome to BE.

If you qualify as Skilled Workers, you'd start by downloading the application pack on the CIC website and gathering your paperwork - things like booking your IELTS exam, getting your ECA done, etc, first as they take the longest.

Who would be the principal applicant and what is their NOC code? Hopefully it's not one of the more popular ones, but even if it's not you'll need to get a wiggle on if you want to apply before the quota fills, so don't delay.

Best of luck.
