Default Where to send medical information?

I know this has been asked a thousand times, but i am still unsure what I am doing here.

Medical being done tomorrow in Canada, PR sponsoring spouse, application is going to be outside canada application (London Visa Office), do we send medicals to Mississuaga or to London, doctor's office insists it goes to Ottawa....totally confused!

Please help anyone.

It would be the doctor who sends them off. Some people feel it slows down the process but the Ottawa office assesses them and sends the results to the visa office by email or enters them directly into the visa office computer. There is no snail mail involved and any perceived delays are probably caused by some other factor. Fortunately for you Summer is over and visa offices are back to normal.

Thanks Jim for your reply,

So its our understanding that the medical results will be sent by the doctor to Ottawa, our application is sent to Mississauga and then everything will tie up in London? We were just worried because we do not have a file number yet as we have not yet submitted our application.

Thanks

That is the usual procedure for sponsored spouses so you need to include the proof of medical examination when submitting the application documents to Mississauga.

Yes, you have to include the no2 copy of the medical that the doc gives you. this goes with all the other stuff to mississagua. The rest will follow from doc to london. Thats how i've done it, so it had better be right!!

you've been pointed correctly in this thread. that's what happened to us, it all joins together. you won't get a client ID until Mississuaga confirm the Sponsor has been agreed/denied.

good luck, as you can see by my timeline you could hear something as quickly as 2-3 months.
