Where to include son

Hello forum, I really need some clarification before my head explodes! Here is the story. I am British, my common law partner Canadian. We are doing an inland application. I have no kids but my partner/sponsor has a son aged 17 who is staying in the Uk for the time being. He is Canadian. Does not need sponsoring or anything. Where do we mention him? Is it just in the form 'Sponsorship evaluation'?. Someone must know!

Is he solely a Canadian citizen? If so, has he got the right visa to stay in Britain independently?

He is British but currently awaiting his Candian citizenship card which was sent off last April. So I think he is considered Canadian even though he hasn't got his card yet. My sponsor lived outside Canada for years which is why he is there.
The reason I suspect I need to mention him somewhere is because we do financially contribute to him whilst he is under 18. Although he isn't currently living with us.
