Default When will I have to redo the medicals?

I did my medicals in December last year.

I'm afraid the Embassy will fail to issue me the visa within the validity of
the medicals. That is very unfortunate, but I don't know what I could do
about it.

When will I have to redo the medicals? Exactly in December, one month
earlier, one month later.???

So there is a chance that redoing medicals won't be necessary?
I mean in general - is there scenario when recurrent medical exam
can be waived?

Yes, in many cases of applicants with perfect medicals who are residing
during the entire process either in Canada or US (rarely in other Western
countries) validity of medicals is being extended.

Yes, but when will they request them?

I need this information because I want to make some planning.

Nobody knows. When all other tasks are completed and processing officer
determines that new medicals are needed you will be asked to do them. Sorry,
but maybe your local fortune teller can give you better answer as not even
officer processing your case can tell you at this time anything.

I wonder if anybody was in the same situation with medical exam.
Before I was ever requested by Buffalo to do my medical, I had to do
one as I needed it for my visitor extension in Canada. I wasn't very
happy that I had to do especially since people who resided in US
before coming to Canada are not required to do it and I have been
residing in US (not my home country) for 7 years before coming to
Canada.
I called CIC and they told me that these immigration exams are all the
same for all categories and once I do one it will be valid for 12
months and Buffalo office will be using these results for processing
my application. After taking the exam I faxed Buffalo with my exam
information. In the caips notes in the "notes" section, they have
entered this info with a question mark.
Then I found a phone number on this forum for the Medical Office in
Ottawa.
I called, the lady was very helpful and she told me that because it
was done for Vegreville office, Buffalo can't see... different
databases?
She told me: "I will make sure that this information is entered today
and it will "magically" appear in the Buffalo system tomorrow." She
told me that I shouldn't need to do another medical unless instructed
by Buffalo to do it.

I ordered CAIPS notes again to see if it "magically" appears there.
Long story short, I guess my question is whether somebody have been in
the same situation, using medical exam done for one CIC office for
process in another.

Thanks for listening
Roxolana
