I have taken my medicals on 8th February, 2001. I have not heard anything from CHC,
London. But my main concern is that I have sofar not sent my Right of Landing Fee (ROLF).
Need your advice about ROLF and how soon should I send it.
Also if I send the ROLF by CASHIERS CHECK in US DOLLARS, is it acceptable by Canadian High
Commission, London.

When we received our invitation for medicals, we were also advised at the SAME TIME to
send our ROLF as a bankers draft (in CAN $) to CIC London at the same time. Might I
suggest that you take another look at the letter you received inviting you to attend your
medical toute de suite! - you'll probably find that CIC are waiting for your payment
before progressing your app. further...
For reference, we were invited to attend medicals on the 16th December, and took them on
the 11th January (having sent the ROLF payment at the beginning of Jan). We finally
received our visa's on the 26th Feb.

The Right of Landing fee can be paid at any time prior to the issuance of landing
documents. If all selection requirements have been fulfilled, then you should not delay
remittance of this fee, as doing so may delay the conclusion of your case.

No, you should remit the funds in Canadian funds ideally. Local currency is also
acceptable in most cases. You should refer to the instructions issued by the visa office.
