Default When to pay Right of Permanent Residence Fee??

Hi Can anyone tell me when you pay your Right of Permanent Residence Fee. Is this requested before passport requests or with passport requests?
Thanks

Usually they ask for it with the Medical Requests. You can pay it sooner but if your application is denied before the point that they require it, you can end up waiting months for a refund.

Thanks everyone. We had our meds in Nov last year but they didn't request the payment then. I guess this will be something else that will delay the passport request letter!!

Have you chased them at [email protected] ? Send them an e-mail asking them to confirm you should now submit your RPRF and are they ready to issue PPR now?

Hi I emailed them a few weeks ago about it - they just said they would send a request for payment when they are ready to process. Our medicals are due to expire and our police certificates are more than 12 months old and when i contact them they just say our file is being processed normally and they will contact us when they are ready to proceed. everything was ok with meds and we have sent all documents they have requested - not sure what the hold up is but this will probably hold it up even more. just hoping we dont have to have medicals, police checks again!
Thanks
