Hi Everyone I have a quick question and hoping you could help.
I had an IEC 2016 - 2018.
I am now wanting to apply for the Express Entry Visa and see there is a three-year expiry date of which you can do this.
I am wondering if the expiry date is from when you leave the country, stop working or when the visa expires?
This will affect my application as I left Canada a few months before my visa ended. Can anyone help, please?

Left: 2 Nov 2017
Visa Expired: 14 April 2018

Hi, welcome to BE.

I'm not sure what expiry date you're referring to? Are you asking about the Canadian Experience Class (which is one of the streams that comes under EE)? If so, then you need one year skilled work in Canada within the 3 years before applying (i.e. if you applied today then you'd need a year between now and 16th Feb 2018), so you wouldn't be eligible I'm afraid. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration...nce-class.html

But do check your scores to see if you'd qualify under FSW instead, your Canadian work experience will add to your score for that too.
