When can you check status online for spousal sponsorship?

When can you check status online for spousal sponsorship?
At what point does it become possible to check the status of your application online? I know mine was received in Missisauga on 9th Jan (because I sent it airsure with Royal Mail so tracked it online). But that's all I know.
I'm feeling quite relaxed about it, happy to wait for a letter or however they get in touch to say I'm approved as a sponsor, but my husband has ants in his pants and keeps asking if there's any news.
Is it possible to check status from now just with some other reference?

PS, I did try to go onto the online service today to see if I could work it out myself but it's just coming up with a page saying the service is temporarily unavailable.

Nope, not until sponsorship approved/refused 35 days is the posted time.
