What should I expect when landing?

I'll be landing in Halifax on a Common-Law Partner visa.

What should I expect? I hope the Canadians are more friendly than when I landed in the US on a visa!!

Hi

Cant say re common law visa and what you need etc but can say the CBSA at Halifax were fantastic when we came through 3 weeks ago, really friendly, welcoming, no fuss or hassle and even let us off the customs charge for the dog when we collected him a couple of weeks ago

Usually a bit of a bump, but if the FO is any good it won't be too bad.

Many thanks for the link! I actually meant the process of landing as a PR!

I have many hours of experience landing in Halifax, both as a passenger and the Captain in charge of the entire aircraft! It can be tough landing there on occasions!
