Default What PNP do we apply for

Hi
We are in Alberta on a 2 yr TWP,OH is a Carpenter,we were going to apply for FSW cat 2 but I have been looking into PNP and wondering if that is a better option for us.
But I m a bit confused about what PNP to apply for do we apply for the Employer driven stream or the Strategic Recruitment Stream.
OH has NVQ 1,2 and 3 in Carpentry but no Canadian qualification.
Any advice would be great
Thank you

With no Canadian qualificiation, he's not eligible for the Strategic Recruitment Stream anyway. See point two of the eligibility requirements here - http://www.albertacanada.com/immigra...-criteria.aspx

So I guess that answers your question!

Good luck.

We are going via employer driven. Reason is because if you are accepted there is no need to get another LMO - if your permit runs out before you get PR you just extend your TWP.

If you do FSW2 then you could get yourself into hot water and need another LMO if it takes an age to come through....

Plan B if we don't get accepted is to apply FSW2.... it won't come to that.
