what is people’s wait for PR approval after medicals on the AIPP
Hi all, I’m just wondering what everyone’s time lines are under the AIPP scheme especially timeline after medical request to PR approval.
Many thanks

There's a thread with some timelines that might be of use - although some are probably a bit old there are a couple of more recent ones.
PR after AINP approval, waiting times?
Medical requests and time for processing until PR (COPR issuance) is down to Immigration Canada, not AINP though. https://www.alberta.ca/ainp-after-yo...nominated.aspx Have you tried checking the status of your application on eCAS? https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration...ck-status.html

thank you Siouxie, we are under the Atlantic immigration pilot program which is supposed to be a fast track PR program!
We have had some issues with our application but very long story short, head of provincial immigration got involved thankfully and we are now finally starting to see light at the end of this very long stressful tunnel. We can’t seem to find posts about others on the same program posting about there own timelines. Our application is still showing background checks in progress, we are now at 8 months when they are supposed to grant PR within 6 months.

Good luck.
Edit: you posted in June saying your application was being returned as incomplete? So have you reapplied? If so, you can't count from June, the processing time will have started when your new application was received and confirmed as complete.

I presume you are taking the '6 months' from this page: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration...lot/guide.html
IRCC processes the application - Applications will be processed in six months or less in the majority of cases.
As chrismasoompa said, you can only start the countdown from the date they received your completed application (IRCC that is, not the Province) - and there's no guarantees - 6 months is the average. If it is longer than 6 months since your completed application was received you can always send them a case specific enquiry. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration...ing-times.html / http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.aspIf you wish to be here quickly, have you considered asking about a temporary work permit? Application for a Temporary Work Permit – Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
If you’re eligible to apply for the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program, you may also be eligible to apply for a 1-year work permit. To qualify for a temporary work permit, you must..

But getting a job offer will really depend on how specialist your skills are and what your occupation is - generally you need to get over to Canada and job hunt in person, have you done that yet? Have a read of the Job Hunting section of the Wiki and maybe start a new thread in the main Canada forum about job hunting with details of your occupation, skills and education level, hopefully then others in the same industry will be able to advise of your chances.
I'll close this thread now as the OP has left the building.
HTH.
