Default What is the correct method of postponing medical due to wife's pregnancy

Hi Guys I am an August 2005 applicant and have just received a request for a medical to be performed within the next 45 days. My wife's due date is July 10. If I contact CHC and explain that we will not be able complete the medicals until after the birth, will they expect me to take the medical after the baby's due date, or will they send me another medical request.

Many thanks

They will expect you to have the medical after the due date. What will be the citizenship of the baby? If not a CC through decent, then you will have to add him/her to the application, pay the fee, amend your applications and wait for medical instructions for the child as well as get a passport.

Thanks for the prompt reply PMM, from your response I assume that I will not receive another medical request once I have informed them that my wife is pregnant and as you stated, that they will expect us to complete our medicals as soon as practical, after the baby's birth?

The child will be British born and you have given me alot to think about and arrange.

Many thanks
