AOR stands for Acknowledgment Of Receipt and is the letter a visa post sends
you to confirm they received your file and they have got it all there and
issued you a file number etc.
So it seems if you have got a letter with your file number than you have
received an AOR. It normally says not to contact them for 6 months while
they process your application.

I am going to apply for Can Imm. Waiting for the FBI fingerprint results. What are the forms that have to be mailed in with the application? Could you please tell me what fees are to be submitted? Is it necessary that we mail in all the forms required at one shot or send the forms without FBI Results and the ROLF Fee?

Thanks,
S.

you can find all the information, guides and forms here
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/-
skilled/index.html

although as i type this the link to the page of forms is giving a 404.
Find the information specific to your country
[http://www.c-
ic.gc.ca/english/applications/skilled-mission.html]

and look at the checklist and make sureyou have included everythnig on it.
this page:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/e-
nglish/applications/skilled.html

actually has everything in one place which is handy.

Don't send your application off incomplete, wait until you have everything
on the checklist before submitting it or they will probably send it back.
