What is "Good Weather" for you???

Most of the populated bits of ontario have pretty similar weather, Hot humid Summer, Cold Winter with occasional snow storms and freezing rain, nice temperate Fall, and short wet Spring.

The further north (away from lake Ontario) the colder the winter, So Ottawa is appreciable colder than Toronto. There are also snow belts that get more snow due to the "lake effect", as you would guess these places tend to be nearer the lakes, and depend on prevailing wind directions off the lake. Anywhere you are south/ east of a lake is going to get a bit of lake effect. For example the Barrie area and around Georgian bay.

If you are looking for Vancouver like winter mildness, or Calgary Chinooks, you arent going to find them in Ontario.

You can look up stats at either the environment canada website or the weathernetwork.com
