Are we at the final stages? Any input would be greatly received!
 

Hi all,

It has been a very long time since we posted anything about our application and after no updates since April 2021 when our biometrics were requested, we haven't even had an update! Today we received a request to submit our original police certificates and also our signed original Schedule A Background Information form as well as a request to (re) do our medical...assumedly because it is now out of date after such a long time. Can anyone shed any light on where this means we are in the process?

We submitted in February 2021 for the FSW from the UK (my husband is a French citizen but we live here) and have been painfully waiting. We've waited so long we'd started to make other plans to be honest and are about to put our house up for sale to potentially buy a bigger one here so if this is a good sign...we need to urgently make a judgement call before we tie ourselves into an expensive house! We have 30 days to submit so if anyone has any encouraging words or warnings, it would be great to hear them.

My best guess would be that they have picked up your file and that you are now within the last few months of the application being finalised.
