To all experts,
I wanted to consult the experts on this forum who are doing a great
job by helping applicants questions.
I had applied under the independant category to Canadian Immigration
Buffalo RPC. I have completed my medicals and send them everything
they had asked for including the RRPF fees. I am an Indian citizen on
H-1B in USA.
My time line:
Application: 18th October'2001
AOR: 30th November '2001
Assessment: 27th November'2002
Medicals sent: 11th April'2003
RRPF sent: 22nd April'2003
Waiting since then.......
I have 2 quick questions.
1) When i got an assessment on my application, it was an interview
waiver and they did not asked for any documents. Should i get my
fingerprint results from FBI again, i had submitted one with the
application in 2001 but i think those expire after 6 months so should
i get them done again. Has anybody been in a similiar situation or
have been asked to do fingerprinting again after their initial
assessment. Please suggest....
2) Any ideas how long it might take further from here for the next
step. Also if people who are waiting for their final decision post
their timelines under this thread we could help each other by tracking
our timelines and getting a rough estimate on the pace with which
decisions are taken at Buffalo RPC.
Thanks in advance

I don't think you have to send the fingerprints again.. Since they already have them they can conduct the check w/o asking your fingerprints again..... I live in Canada, after 6 months of my application, they asked me an update on my personal info like adress, work, school info from Buffalo...but not the fingerprints again.. Timeline
Quebec CSQ: August, 2002
PR BUFFALO: September, 2002
AOR received in Sept. 2002
Asked for fingerprints and medicals oct 2002
done medicals and fingerprints oct 2002
sent 975$ feb 2003
asked for an updated personal info since Sep 2002
waiting ......

Tarun, did you submit the PCC at any stage? Did the CIC ask for it?
Thanks.
