Default Vistors Visa to start a new business

Hi
I intend to travel to Canada on a visitor visa. I intend to scout for
new business opportunities during my visit. If i find any opportunity
attractive, I would like to continue to run that business. What would
be the steps required in terms of Visa.
Thanks
Satish

Almost impossible to achieve what you want, unless you are running rather
substantial business abroad (with serious turnover and number of employees)
and that offshore company will be starting a subsidiary business in Canada.
But even then it will be difficult, thus don't even try to do anything
without professional assistance.

P.S.

Owning a business in Canada in itself will not give you any right to work in
it. Obtaining work permit to work in your own business is extremely
difficult and only possible under circumstances described in my previous
answer - when your offshore company transfers you (intra-company transfer)
to the subsidiary in Canada.

But what is your long term goal? Do you want to immigrate permanently to
Canada? If yes then email me directly for free evaluation of your chances
and possible options. Don't try to start anything from the wrong end.
