Default Visitor's Visa Mr. Miller Please Reply

Dear Mr. Miller,

I am planning to go on a short vaccation to Malaysia in two weeks
time. I have been here in Canada with my spouse who is a US citizen
since June 2001. He is on a work permit which will expire June 2004.
We have also applied for Canadian Permanent Residence and have
completed medical in May of this year and waiting for further
instruction from Buffalo. My question is:

1) Since Malaysians now require Visa to enter Canada, would it be a
problem for my re-entry into Canada, considering that we had already
applied for Canadian Permanent Residence? I'm a Malaysian citizen I
have a single entry visitor's visa and also work visa.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Usha

If you have a valid visa and work permit then you shouldn't have any
problems re-entering Canada.

If you have already used your single entry visa, you will need to get
another one in Malaysia.
