Default Visitor Visa Multiple Entry

I'd like to apply for Multiple Entry Visa but it cost more. I don't
wanna risk losing money. I need to know if I match with criteria for
obtaining multiple entry visa. Anyone know in which cases the officer
in Buffalo would approve the visa?

thanks

If you are seeking this advce it is best to give your background otherwise
as any advice you receive is whistling in the wind.

I'm currently living in canada as a visitor visa(single entry). I want
to extend my stay for another six months. But with multiple entry
option so I can go to US to visit friends and relatives. What steps
should I take to get multiple entry visa when I apply for extending my
visa?

thanks

You have to apply for multiple entry visas outside of Canada. If you get a
6 month extension from Vegreville, as long as you only got to the US or St.
Pierre and Miquelon you can return to Canada within the validity of the
visitor visa.
